The ‘eagle eyed’ amongst you will notice only 7 pages in this issue. That’s easily explained. Page
2 was blank. That may have been on purpose, or maybe some pictures that were supposed to be there at the time just didn’t
come out. Maybe Chrissie can remember? The band had just performed on a BBC tv show called ‘Pop at the ‘Mill’.
That’s the Pebble Mill BBC tv studios in Birmingham. I managed to get tickets through the fan club for the filming
of the show which was presented by Pete Murray. The guys were joined on the show by Helen Shapiro, and a teen band called
‘Flame’ who had recorded ‘I Wanna Be Loved’.The jpegs that have been added to this page are subject
to copyright and are not to be reproduced elsewhere. I remember they definitely played ‘Under One Roof’, ‘Alimonia’
and ‘Great Be The Nation’ I think they also played ‘Baby I Know’.There are several pictures from that
show printed in this issue. I still have the show on the old Phillips video tape format and have managed to get around 6 minutes
of the show transferred onto DVD. 'Great Be The Nation' is the only track to have survived. The quality is very good considering
the original tape has been gathering dust in my garage for around 27 years! On the day, a well known Tremoloe (Rick) played
guitar with the band. He had also played on the ‘Sometime In Oldchurch’ album that was released around that time.

Time for a showcase guitar solo from Tony. This was quite an inventive effort on the day. A faithful recreation of the studio
recording.

Al starts performing his song 'Great Be The Nation".

John joins in on the drums. He's concentrating really hard.

The BBC always got a good attendance for these shows. The sunny weather was a big help. I was in the crowd that day...
